My 1980 850 mini city
BABY

Below you see where i got started in minis. This was My first mini. And still is. Although my father Mick had minis for years when he was younger so he already had the bug. We got this one as a bit of a project to tinker away at but in contrast to most people who take years to finish a car, we went "hell for leather" and restored this one in double quick time. Before I knew it I was mini mad. Since we got the 850, many minis have come and gone, but this little car remains a constant. Why? I dont know. Its slow and its got drums all around so braking is a skill in its own, but it puts a smile on anyone who crosses her path.

Update 02/12/05 Havent done much with my little 850 lately because of college and work commitments, plus the fact the Black Mayfair 1275 needs more attention. But the seats looked a bit shabby so I decided to upgrade with a set of Cobra Clubman bucked seats. Pictures will come soon.

Update 17/2/06 Hope everyone had a good xmas and a happy new year. Have some time this week so work to be done. Since my last update, I have fitted a drop bracket for the steering column, waxoiled the rear subframe, and painted my drums. Going to collect my new steering wheel Thursday or Friday so when thats in ill have to update my pictures.

Yes i know my lights are on!
